How do I convert Word to PDF?

Upload .docx on New Envelope — Binding Signature converts to PDF in your browser. For complex layouts, save as PDF manually first.

How do I send a document for signature?

Sign in, click New Envelope, upload PDF or Word, add recipients, place fields, and send.

Can I add a witness?

Yes. Choose Witness when adding recipients — useful for legal and property workflows.

How do I install the mobile app?

Binding Signature is a PWA. Use Add to Home Screen from Chrome or Safari on the dashboard or signing page.

Security & compliance

Are electronic signatures legally binding?

In most jurisdictions, yes when local e-signature law requirements are met. Binding Signature provides audit trails and certificates.

How does identity verification work?

Optional £8/month add-on. 100 email OTP verifications/month included (500 on Enterprise), then £0.20 each. Toggle per envelope.

Fastest: upload .docx on New Envelope — Binding Signature converts it in your browser. For manual control:

  1. Microsoft Word: File → Save As → PDF
  2. Google Docs: File → Download → PDF
  3. Mac Preview: File → Export as PDF
  4. LibreOffice: File → Export as PDF
  5. Print → Save as PDF
